Art Basel Hong Kong 2026 Zero10
√K Contemporary is pleased to announce our participation in Art Basel Hong Kong 2026 in the digital sector Zero10, presenting Ornament Survival, a new installation by Emi Kusano.
The installation—featuring sculpture, video, and two-dimensional works—reinterprets the “Transforming Heroine” of Japanese animation in the age of generative AI. Centered on a monumental sculpture inspired by 1990s magical compacts, the work explores transformation as a strategy for sustaining individuality within algorithm-driven systems.
Ornament Survival reflects on the evolution of technology and human desire, proposing a manifesto for navigating the age of algorithms.
