Rin Nakanishi

With a background of growing up in a Western-style confectionery shop, I create sculptures and performances using Western sweets as my main medium. My work expands the viewing experience into one that involves eating—engaging the senses of smell, taste, and texture—through what I refer to as an ‘eat sculpture.’ that I am creating.
